If you want to change your life, you have to change yourself
This is a love letter to all those who don’t feel good enough.
The foundation of any significant change in life is rooted in the changes we make within ourselves. It’s a journey of self-discovery and self-improvement that paves the way for a more fulfilling and authentic life.
Below is a question I got in my DMs the other day and I want elaborate on how to build a healthier relationship with yourself in this newsletter.
Dear Israa,
I love your content about building a healthy relationship with yourself but how can I begin to break free from this cycle of self-criticism and start to love and accept myself genuinely? I often compare myself to others, and my inner critic is relentless, always reminding me of everything I do wrong. This mindset is not only affecting my mental health but also spilling over into my relationships. Are there practical steps I can take to improve my relationship with myself, and cultivate self-compassion?
We often dream of changing our lives – a new career, better relationships, improved health. Yet, we seldom realize that the first step to transforming our external circumstances begins with an internal shift. But, what does that shift look like, and more importantly - how do we do it?
