All of it resonated with me, honestly. The part that if life ceased to exist today, the universe would carry on. That midlife is just as relevant of a time to ask ourselves, "what's left, who am I, and what do I want to be when I grow?" like it is when we are leaving high school. Normalize asking ourselves those questions even when we are turning 70 or 80! The whole idea about life being meaningless so figuring out what's meaningful to us as individuals -- 1000%. But embracing the craziness of uncertainty and life, just because we can embrace it, doesn't mean we can't change it and decide not settle for someone else's definition of fulfillment.
Such a good read! You put together a great list that allows me to ask the big questions and remember what unnecessary meaning we give to meaningless things, sometimes. like a filter that helps you obtain clarity. Always love your work, but this one has been one of my favorites.
for an article largely based around existentialism, there are such hopeful undertones. i love it. it's so human to get lost in finding the meaning that we forget that we are the meaning. such a great reminder. thank you for your words!
This has helped shade light on a few things . Definitely sharing this with my friends !
Really enjoyed this one, Israa! Definitely plan on sharing it with someone about to embark on a life milestone.
I’m really glad to hear that! I’ve gotten mixed reviews on this one - what resonated the most with you?

I couldn't be more grateful to have stumbled upon this article at a time when I was starting to lose hope. You revived my spirits, Israa. Thank you!
